Word to PDF
Open a DOCX file and review how it looks before saving it as a PDF using your device’s print dialog.
Check the preview before saving. Browser rendering can differ from Microsoft Word, especially for uncommon fonts, headers, fields and complex tables. The original DOCX stays on your device.
DOCX only, up to 20 MB. Older .doc files are not supported. No upload or account.
Save your PDF
- Select a DOCX file and inspect the page preview.
- Select Print / Save as PDF.
- In the browser’s print dialog, choose Save as PDF as the destination, then save the file.
Example: send a resume as a PDF
Before printing, check that the name and contact details are complete, bullets line up and the final section has not moved onto an almost-empty page. Save to PDF, reopen that file and check page count, links and the last line. A correct on-screen DOCX does not guarantee the browser's printed PDF has the same page breaks.
On some phones, PDF saving is under the printer destination menu. If the layout looks wrong in the preview, make the PDF from Microsoft Word or LibreOffice instead. The tool accepts DOCX; it cannot read older .doc files. See when to edit the source document instead of the PDF.
